Head count for Cades Cove Full Moon Camp out

“For those of you going on the campout in August, please post here how many people will be in your group.

Woodzie - 3 (2 adults, 1 child)”

“Not sure yet, probably me and two maybes...depends on if the wife will let me bring the kids.”

“Bitpusher, bring the kids if you can. Would begreat fun for them. Won't your wife camp?”

“Oh sure, but I figure she'll enjoy the weekend to herself. She doesn't get many. I'll ask her though.”

“I spoke to my wife and she said she'd think about it. So, possibly as many as 4, and as few as 1.”

“The goat is still a maybe. He may or may not bring 1 friend. I supose that is maybe none, maybe 1, maybe 2. Will know more in early August.”

“Hi, folks! The way it is looking, we are right at maximum people for the campout. Even though the sign up shows only 11 people, I have to count the people coming with others.

The group camp has a limit of 30 people and 10 tents. We may have to do some creative camping in order to get more than 10 tents in the campsite if necessary.

If anyone else wants to join up, you can do so, but be aware you may have to camp in the regular campground due to space issues. But you can still hang around at the group camp :-)”

“Too early to say, but most likely me +2, we can compress to two tents instead of three and if it becomes a big deal I can bring my huge six person coleman tent.”

This count actually comes to 31, but I'm sure it will be okay.

“Also, if we hit the limit, I can stay at home and commute over.”

“On every TT trip I've been on you always have a ton of people who say they are going to go but when it gets to that weekend, only about 30% of the total YES and Maybe show up. For the past two Sods trips we had over 30 signed up and got around 10 each time, so I wouldn't worry about size limits.”
