National Park Service live cams
Thanks to TownDAWG.... I was very impressed with his last photo post of the GSM that updates periodically. I ran the Google search for GSM Live Cams and found this site. (after sorting thru tons of the X-Rated live girl cams) LOL. This may be old hat to some of you professional web surfers, but, is new to me. There are other sites that provide live streaming video which I fould quite interesting. Especially Key West where I lived for 6 years. ENJOY!

I've been playing "spot the buffalo" for a little while, but now the snow is coming down pretty good. God, I can't WAIT to get out there!

Wow.
I stood all alone for an hour-plus at Old Faithful when I was there. It was the last weekend YNP was open to the public in 2003. It was 8 p.m. and daaark.

I had left my hat and gloves in the car, thinking she erupted every 10 minutes or so. I was freezing, but dared not to leave for fear of missing a blowzer.

Eventually, coyotes began howling, but stopped immediately sound the sound of a much deeper, baritone howl began echoing through the canyon.

Then - swisssssssssssssh!

Wow. Surreal.

It looks like a time warp of Biblical proportions at that. At 7:00 pm on in Dec of 1969 it would be dark.
