We are Grandparents :)

“All 3 house finch eggs have hatched now. I have to be very careful when watering that particular hanging pot where is nest is now. The mother bird flies across the street and tells me off from there, until I go back inside, and then she flies right back to the nest.”

“bird parents can be nasty. i hate mocking birds parents.
well twignut and myself just had to help the last bird out of its shell. that was cool but then so was the baby. but mom Lulu is sitting on her to keep her warm. I guess he will be the runt of the litter so to speak. so we now have six birds and i am ready to keep them all. ok maybe one”

the little died. he was pretty small to start with. we tried to keep him warm and give him a few drops of food but it was not enough
rest in peace little one. he wll lay next to the other little ones in the garden”

“Years from now somebody will excavate the Tree Haus back yard and decide that whoever lived there way back when practiced animal sacrifice.”

“haha no the trick is to rember where you buried all the bodies. so when you start a new garden you are not surprised!”

“well this is a sad day at the treehouse. our little grandbabies are moving out :(
I did not think this would bother me so, but it does.
I will miss them very much. they are off to NJ and tongiht they will meet there near parents.
