I promote the killing of the evil few to save the lives of the good majority.

The going after N. Korea would be not as messy as we could just blow up a bunch of military targets. Not the same as attacking bad guys in their homes and churches.

I have never supported a "Korean attack".

When did the "libbies" support this? dammit, am I not keeping updated on what I'm suppossed to support?

MarkO - Am I still on the newsletter list? Am I not getting the latest updates?

Last time I vote for you as our Rep!

Easier said than done, my friend.

I remember how easy Iraq was gonna be......"MISSION ACCOMPLISHED"

The North Koreans could unleash hell on Seoul and do a lot of damage before they are stopped.
Seoul is within range.

AND....I think you will find Asians to be quite a bit tougher than Iraqis.

“Sarge, why do you promote violence??”

I'm just pokin' fun!!
But really, recommending war is to promote violence.

Man... it must be hell living in a country with a corrupt leadership that has to constantly hype outside threats to security and whip up war hysteria just to keep the population from focusing on how #&%!$ed up the leadership is.

Well, the only way to stop the spread of Evilness, what i like to call "The Domino Effect of Evil", is to kick some Evil Ass!

Evil being defined as Countries who aren't on our payroll, of course.

MarkO - Iraq went exactly as it was detailed ahead of time. The Mission was Accomplished.

The North Koreans could unleash hell if we don't blow them off the map. Remember, Iraq's mission was accomplished long ago - get Saddam out - Now we're just there to get the Iraqi's on their feet. We could unleash whip-ass if we wanted to, but that wouldn't support our mission.

I promote war if the alternative is the bad guys (N. Korea) attacking and killing innocent people (their citizens and S. Korea - I also suspect they are gearing up to assist China).

And "Blowing them off the Map" would be the Christian thing to do.

Remember, we should attack them because they have Nuclear Weapons.

white house just said we're not gearing up for a korean attack, so its not a case of supporting the opposite. but, on a slow tt day, i guess a little liberal-baiting is in order

Talk amongst yourselves (because this is what's really happening in the big picture)...

While the general consensus is that North Korea is evil, have they actually done anything, or are we just afraid that they might? Just some food for thought...

Personally, I do not trust short people. I especially do not trust short people who try to hide the fact that they are short. I don’t trust anyone with bouffant hair and platform shoes on, much less one with nukes. If a world leader isn’t honest with his own infirmities how can we ever trust them? I’m sorry but they must all die. It’s Jesus’ will.

The white man call himself civilized

Cause he know how to take over

The white man come to pillage my village

Now he tell me i have to bend over

Oh yeah, kill all the white man

No i don't like the white man up in me

He rape my people as he rape my country

Everything i love and cherish, he try to take away

We will be rid of him, soon come the day

Oh yeah, kill all the white man

Oh yeah, kill all the white man

You mean besides starving millions of people to the point where cannibalism is rampant to enhance their military and besides the torture of hundreds of thousands of their own people?

KOREA...have you been there?
Has anyone here been to Korea and watched the ROK troops train shirtless in the snow in the middle of winter? NO? Well contrary to popular belief, the US Armed Forces are not in Korea to keep the North out of the South, they are there to keep the South from overrunning the North (LOL).

Besides, PRK is starving, the Troops at Panmujon (sorry bout the spelling) are required to be 6' minimum. Recently they are reporting that the PRK troops are getting shorter...why? Starvation is effecting even their best troops.

I never advocated invading North Korea. It was funny that by Bush's reasoning, North Korea made a more reasonable target than Iraq. It was obvious to me at the time of the Iraq invasion that the reason why we were invading Iraq and not North Korea is because North Korea really did have dangerous WMD's.

That said, it's a horrible dicatatorship in North Korea. It will be very good news indeed when the current regime falls.

That was the other thing with Iraq and their atrocities. Rummy was bringing Iraq love letters and favors when they were using bio weapons, and then years later that's reason for invading.

Mutt's reasoning is more honest (though I still disagree) because he justifies the invasion on purely strategic grounds - not on moral grounds and not with silliness about WMD.

That said, before the Iraq war I was very vocal stating my belief that North Korea deserved attention well before Iraq. While the Iraq war has conferred some the predicted strategic advantages (and we're certainly not losing, much to the loony left's chagrin), we have sacrificed our moral ground for intervening in countries that really do export WMD technology and materials (i.e. North Korea). No doubt leaving Sadam in power would have resulted in him continuing to aid terrorists, but we would have had years to deal with it before invading.

What we should have done is continue to contain Saddam, pour major money into deploying anti missile technology around the korean peninsula, and bring down Kim.

Does anyone remember
The date 1936, a little tin horn leader of a formerly great but bankrupt nation decides to send troops to take an area denied him by a previous peace treaty. His leading tacticians even admit in their memoirs that if the Democ...sorry, French had sent so much as a reinforced Brigade in to oppose the operation the Nazi plans would have been horribly disrupted.

I wonder in 1936 if someone had gone to the leaders of England and France and explained that by sacrificing 2000 or 3000 young soldiers the next 9 years of hell would be avoided....would they have done it.

I wonder in 1936 if we had sent troops to bog down Japan in China if they would have had the ability to extend their attacks to the Pacific rim? Hindsight always is 20/20. And just in case you are wondering YES we did fight the Soviets. We trained and pretty much saved the Afghani rebels, and we destroyed the ORTEGA government in Nigaragua. Not hot wars but we forced the Soviets to overreach their ability.
