What would be the strategic point of taking out N. Korea? Is it the same as the Strategic point of "taking out" Cuba???????

BTW - we probably didn't, and maybe won't, touch N. Korea b/c China has sent certain "signals" not to?

We aren't fergitting China are we?

“What would be the strategic point of taking out N. Korea?"

This may not be very geopolitically savvy but I think the aim is to not allow crazy little guys like Il to use nukes as a blackmailing tool to get money and aid ala Bill Clinton’s policies with N. Korea.

Ahhhhh. Money for no nukes. Forgot about that one. Still, I imagine the Chinese would be none too pleased if we used force.

Isn't Putin a little crazy?

"Ahhhhh. Money for no nukes. Forgot about that one."

How can we when Clinton already set the tone by caving in during his administration?

"Still, I imagine the Chinese would be none too pleased if we used force."

They weren't happy the first time around.

"Isn't Putin a little crazy?"

Only in poorly ventilated areas.

In 1950 the Chinese were none too happy with U.S. and U.K. forces near their border.

That is why invading North Vietnam was not an option and the war was thus un-win-able.

Wrong, it was the anti-war crowd and traitors like you and Jane Fonda who lost the war. Does anyone have a link to that former NVA general who directly said as much?

It's a Holiday in Cambodia where people dress in black........

Nonproliferation starts at home. Or in the former Soviet republics.

Stability on the peninsula? been stable for a while. More stable than the former Soviet Union.

Or, we could pull out and not give a rats ass who "wins" the peninsula-of-no-importance?
