“Its freaking hot, but luckily (unless you are a farmer) we haven't had much rain so the humidity isn't bad.” 12:54:18 PM 6/15/05 “Its flamin up here too!” 12:55:56 PM 6/15/05 “Are you calling Hyway a flamer? lol” 12:57:24 PM 6/15/05 “LOL...hey what hyway wants to do in Wilmington stays in Wilmington.” 1:00:42 PM 6/15/05 “I hear ya, Hyway. Plus we do have the stinkin' humidity to make it feel like 104.” 1:01:06 PM 6/15/05 “no A/C again today and the water cooler is broken” 1:08:56 PM 6/15/05 “Maple does your boss have horns and carry a pitchfork by chance?” 1:13:28 PM 6/15/05 “who knows i have such a headache :(” 1:21:52 PM 6/15/05 “Its 102 now. Glad I am indoors” 2:11:44 PM 6/15/05 “A/C is fixed wow and only 1 hour left at work” 3:01:10 PM 6/15/05 “51 degrees here today. The past 5 or 6 days have been hot and humid, but this cooler weather is very much welcomed. It was 46 degrees when I woke up this morning and is supposed to be the same tonight. I love living in NH!” 3:34:57 PM 6/15/05 “It was about 95 here yesterday. Our school district gave the little kids a half day because many of the schools lack AC. Temps dropped all day today. It's now about 74. Sweet!” 4:08:02 PM 6/15/05 “98 right now outside my back door. Glad I rode my bike this AM.” 4:25:27 PM 6/15/05 “94 right now, and tomorrow is supposed to be hotter. I wish the seabreeze would kick up, that always helps. I may head back to my parents house for another swim. All the rain from Arlene over the weekend cooled their pool right down.” 4:27:34 PM 6/15/05 ““It was about 95 here yesterday. Our school district gave the little kids a half day because many of the schools lack AC." Whew, now I have something to fire back at those folks who make fun of our schools closing when we get 2 inches of snow. It's West Texas, we don't have snow plows, but all our achools have AC! ;)” 4:28:35 PM 6/15/05 “Weather.com for Biloxi 92°F Feels Like 108°F Good thing I'm on the waterfront where those cool 92 degree sea breezes blow. ;-) Can you say 100% humidity?” 4:31:34 PM 6/15/05 “Harlock, I lived near the SC/Ga border for a few years, and NONE of the schools I attended had AC, except for the crapola little portables that at least kinda sorta cooled them off. That sucked.” 4:33:13 PM 6/15/05 “Dang it. None of my schools had AC untill MSU. I walked twenty miles thru 105 degree temps barefoot thru the snow to get to school also. ;-)” 4:37:48 PM 6/15/05 “Watch it SS, you're sounding like both my dad and grandpa. last edited: 6/15/05 4:41:27 PM” 4:38:29 PM 6/15/05 “LOL The LOW tonight is supposed to be 75. Woo Hoo!” 4:39:46 PM 6/15/05 I'm a letter carrier... “my route is ten+ miles on the street every day. Oh, do I LOVE it when it hits the upper 90s with high humidity here in Charlotte. Oy.” 4:40:59 PM 6/15/05 “Stay hydrated!” 4:41:46 PM 6/15/05 “I'd kill for a little humidity with our heat. It sucks when it's 110* outside and 108* in the shade with a warm breeze up from Mexico and no humidity for it to cool. Feels like a convection oven. On the bright side... yeah, I'm gonna hike in this weather.” 4:46:06 PM 6/15/05 ““I'd kill for a little humidity with our heat. All it does is make it feel hotter and every thing sticky.” 4:55:46 PM 6/15/05 “No, I have lived in humid areas and prefer it. Cool off much faster.” 4:56:22 PM 6/15/05 “Today the humidity finally broke and it has cooled down about 10F.” 4:56:47 PM 6/15/05 “Last week in Montreal it was averaging 82F everyday, plus very humid....I was biking and inline skating shirtless. Yesterday and today, it rained and the temps dropped down to 55F....had to put on my sweatshirt and pants. A 30F degree difference.....” 1:07:07 AM 6/16/05 “Well, HiWay,,, here on my side of the hill, it is in the 50s this morning !! and was quite chilly all day yesterday. I may have to put on my Big Boy Britches today !! LOL Went up to Cranberry Glades last Sunday and it was pretty COLD up there too with the front pushing through. BUT!!! I'm sure the 90s are just around the corner. Hope you have a great day !! (I'm going trout fishing down on the New River)” 6:49:20 AM 6/16/05 “It's already 92 here, with an expected high of 97. No sea breeze. Ick.” 11:06:55 AM 6/16/05 tree “Where'd you live on the SC/GA border? We may have been neighbors” 11:10:38 AM 6/16/05 “Hilton Head, right on the ocean in N. Forest beach. This was in the 80's. last edited: 6/16/05 11:33:03 AM” 11:32:13 AM 6/16/05 “Hilton Head.....not bad, not bad at all. I thought you were going to say Augusta. What were you doing in HH? Radio related?” 8:37:49 PM 6/16/05 “Well folks....... as of 7:30 tonight... I have my HEATER on !!!!! I went outside this morning, it looked overcasty and dismal, so I put off fishing, packed me some snacks and drinks and took off to Dolly Sods for the day to scope out next weeks hike. It was windy, cold and rainy all day.... just ugly..... After taking in the Sights of the Sods, I turned around and came back. Stopped at Seneca Rocks for a break and toodled on home. Nice day trip through the mountains for this Florida Flatlander I tell you that !! It is 58* here now. My daughter just called from Cape Canaveral and it was like 90* there and awful humidity. I might stay up here in the hills for a while longer {:o) last edited: 6/16/05 8:55:55 PM” 8:50:26 PM 6/16/05 “SH, I was in 8th 9th and most of 10th grades there.” 9:12:32 PM 6/16/05 Northern CA “A couple days ago it was in the 90's, today heavy rain with snow level around 4000', they're calling for 90's by Monday. If ya don't like the weather, wait a day or so....” 9:44:46 PM 6/16/05 In California... “if you don't like the weather, you can climb or descend a few thousand feet. The only mountain I have been on in California was Mount Palomar. I could not get over the difference in vegetation and terrain between the base of that mountain and the summit. At the base was one of the awfulest deserts I have ever seen (unlike many people, I loathe deserts and do not like being in them), but on the summit there was an enormous, vigorous, old pine forest with streams and springs and at least one lake. Also, the heaviest rattlesnake population density I have ever witnessed. They were freaking EVERYWHERE!!!!” 9:50:51 PM 6/16/05 “I loved the rattlers. As a kid I used to pick em up and scare my folks with them :)” 10:10:07 PM 6/16/05 “Spirit Coyote...you scare me. :o) I hate snakes.” 12:37:33 AM 6/17/05 “We hit 80 at 8:15 this morning. At least the humidity is going down a little. A nice swim in a cool pool helps big time, that's for sure.” 8:35:53 AM 6/17/05 “It got down to 58 last night. I slept like a rock.” 10:38:50 AM 6/17/05 tree “Ahhh.... so you were just growning up with the parents. Man am I getting old. In the early 80s I was married with 2 children, holding down a co-op job, and going to college full time. BTW, not that HH has any surf but are you a surfer or did you try surfing at HH? last edited: 6/17/05 11:31:55 AM” 11:30:17 AM 6/17/05 “No surfing. Lots of net casting and windsurfing, though. It was pretty cool for the G8 meeting they had there; talk about high security! Another cool thing was when Sugar Ray Leonard was training for a big fight there, a cnn crew fresh out of Reykyavik was driving down the beach to film him training. They got stuck/ lost right in front of our house, and then the tide came in; they lost most of their equipment to water and thieves; they rescued the camera though. I got a cool tripod case (they gave it to me) That had stickers from just about everywhere all over it. Wish I still ahd it. That van stayed on the beach for 4 days before it was towed away. When the tide rolled in I could hear the van bouncing off the big granite boulders that made up our seawall.” 11:51:43 AM 6/17/05 “It has been darn cool out here in CA. Can't wait for summer to really start...” 2:35:23 PM 6/17/05
