Is there a full moon or something?

“I get three weeks of vacation starting Friday. 20 days straight. I may turn some in (I get four weeks per year) and save a few days for later. (I also have a solid week off in October.)

But if I don't turn any in, you can be darned sure I'll be backpacking in the southern Apps somewhere.

Going up around Standing Indian next week. I may go up to Shining Rock on Saturday. When I get back from Standing Indian, I'll probably go and spend several days in the Black and Craggy Mountains.”

“All my calendars say first day of summer is the 21st. Full moon is the 22nd.”

“I'll be somewhere in Downeast Maine that day watching the full moon tide come in. It will be 21 feet in Eastport that evening.”

“Vaca time is like cash. You have it until you spend it, and after you spend it, it's gone. All you have then are good memories, but I guess that's enough. And the experience at the time is good.”
