Help Me Help the Special Olympics!

Anyway, the race benefits the Special Olympics of Colorado and our team is committed to raising 300 bucks for the cause.

So, yeah - I'm askin you guys for some help, if your willing - if not, its cool, just ignore the thread, lol.

“Sounds like a fun race Roam! Have you got a team already?”

“Yep, the team is in place.

One guy was a middle distance runner in college and the other is a girl that runs one or two marathons per year.

Now, if we can paddle, bike and roller blade too, we should be in good shape.”

“Had a pre-race meeting the other night to find out what they would tell us (which wasn't much) and to just get some basic info about adventure raceing in general. A guy from last year's winning team (Team Salomon) was there to talk about stuff, seemed like a cool guy.

Last year Team Salomon and then GoLite came in first and second.

I think this means my team's chances of winning are pretty slim, lol

Fundraising is going pretty good so far too!

They way this works, is for every threshold the team reaches beyond the minimum, one team member can opt out of a leg of the race. If we hit 1,000 each of us could rest thru one leg.

My personal goal is 500 bucks. I've probably got committments or checks already for about 250.
