The AT Ridge Runner had an Etowah Stove this weekend and I was impressed.

It seemed to have a longer burn time than any pepsi can stove I have seen.

Has anyone else used one?

Varnish Can Stoves Rock
I have a picture of two varnish can stoves. They work great. I drew up plans and will post them soon.

They are only a little larger than the pepsi can stove, have an attached pot support/wind shield and will burn about one hour per filling. The flame can be extinguished and the can cover replaced, thus conserving fuel. They are compact for transport as the shield can be lowered to where it is wrapped around the can and is the same height.
