Sky Pond - Rocky Mtn Nat'l Park

“Went up to Sky Pond in Rocky Mtn Nat'l Park Sunday. Along the way I passed, The Loch:





above The Loch is "Glass Lake"





from just below Glass Lake you get a really nice view of the gorge you just hiked up:

“One more year and we finally head out west to hit a couple of national parks.

“The area above The Loch is incredible - especially now with all the snowmelt coming down.

Still some snowfields up there and some that you have to cross, but it was all fairly well consolidated. Saw some evidence of a recent slide though up high above Sky Pond on a really steep wall.”
