“I've heard both Logan Pass and Cracker lake are good locations. The only problem is getting back to the car from Many Glacier after Cracker Lake. I'll start working on it.

In addition, I'll call and arrange overnight campsites to use as hubs for day hikes. I think extended day hikes can be just as fun! We'll get to see more of the park that way. Everyone else is still interested as well... glad to hear you are Olddog.

I'll get in touch with you over the next few days. Do you want to go ahead and get your ticket to SLC? We'll be meeting my buddy from Anderson there as well as another guy who lives in SLC - then driving from there.

What about stopping in on the Tetons for a couple days?

“Sorry I have not posted in a very long time, but I have been going through a downsizing and then took another job and finally took a job I wanted. I have been holding my breath as trying to go on this trip, but it is not going to happen. I have to earn my vacation and money has been tight. Hope you have a great trip.”

My vacation rolls over in July, so I will have the time to take off, question will be, do I want to bite the bullet and fly out there? Have to balance out what kind of vacation I will take with the kids.”

Day 1 - Grinnel Glacier
Day 2 - Dawson - Pitakaman Loop
Day 3-6 Logan Pass to Goat Haunt via Granite Park, Fifty Mountain and possibly Stoney Indian Pass.
