The tallest building in the world belongs in New York. Not Chicago or some Asian country.

I like it. I like it a lot.

Now let's get the thing built!

As far as I am concerned build the towers back the same as they were... only make them taller than any other. And another thing, I don't think spires should count in the overall height of a structure. All it is is a useless appendage thrust from the top of the building to get attention.

That was the way I always felt about the old WTC buildings.

From this side of the river, I miss an anchor to the south end of the island. It has to be big.

1. It’s birthplace of skyscrapers.
2. It’s the most important city in the world.

Actually Chicago was the birthplace of skyscrapers.

Home Insurance Building, Chicago, IL was the worlds first skyscraper built in 1885.

I think we should level all buildings in America and everyone leave the country so the terrorists have no targets. That'll teach 'em to mess with us.

I knewe that Zac, but New York is where it took off like nowhere else.

I'm not from New York and I've never lived in New York. I just think that's where the tallest building in the world belongs.

The question is...if it's built...would business' move in? They would move in eventually...how much incentive would the government need to pay the companies...so they would agree to rent there?

It would probably depend on the air defense system installed on the top floor stanlee

Larry Silverstien is a private developer, stanlee. I don't believe there will be any government subsidies involved with the rebuilt WTC.
