If he's the new and improved Bitpusher does that mean we've been putting up with the old and inferior Bitpusher all these years?

Them's me houseshoes! I am not exactly the model of fashion lounging at home.

I did it by eating less and exercising more. I also changed what I was eating, cutting out most of the fat. But mostly it had to do with portion control and will power.

When I actually get a chance to do some hiking, I'll know how much easier it is to hike. That last dayhike I took, it was noticably easier, although I was still at about 215 then. I'll probably get in a dayhike at the West Virginia campout.

geekpusher!!!!
now THAT"S funny!!!

doin good dude. not only will you feel better, your knees will say thanks too.

in a related subject...I went to walmart last night to purchase the lil cheeses that I like to take canoeing...all they had was the "lite" version..and then I got to looking at some other cheeses...all lite versions...then went to the beer section...more lite beer than I"ve ever seen before on the shelves...I'm thinking that SOMEONE has gotten smart cause this town I live in is the FATTEST place I've ever seen. There are MORE fat people here than anywhere else I've ever been...Its like obease heaven. I saw this one dude the other day and he was in a Ford F-150 super duty...the big one with the dualies...he was so freakin fat that even with his seat pushed all the way back, his freakin stomach was right up against the steering wheel...I'm talkin "hatstack Calhoun" size. I wanted to yell over to him "yo...ever hear of Miss A Meal". anyway...

Bit...congrats!!! and I truely mean that dude. Hope to see ya on the trail this fall for the annual savage gulf get together.

For greater effect, you really should have done both those pictures in speedos, with a front and side shot. The geekettes would be at your mercy.
BS

OK, I will go into detail.

When a woman buys pants, she gets to choose the rise from the crotch to the waistband. From what I can tell, there are essentially four choices for women:

1. Over the belly button
2. Just under the belly button
3. Hipbones peeking out
4. Hi, been a couple days since you shaved your #&%!$, right?

And these choices are available, as far as I can tell, in just about any size, whether we would like that or not.

Men don't have this choice. As the waist size goes up, so does the rise. So, it's more like this:

36W: Right over the hipbones. If you lean over, maybe crack shows
38W: Waistband goes right over the belly button. Probably no crackage.
40W: (Where I am now) Waistband is about two inches over the bellybutton.
42W: Waistband is under your armpits.

XL, which is the size of those shorts, corresponds to about 40-42 waist size, so they rise very high.

Also, I'm very short-waisted, so that doesn't help any. If my spine were 4 inches longer, like my 6'4" brother's, you'd never think those shorts were too high. Incidentally, he and I have the same inseam measurement.

Is that a good enough explanation, or do you need more? lol....
