Glacier National Park

“Hey, folks.

For anyone who has been frequenting the Glacier National Park trip page (August 15-21, 2005) I have an update.

The original trip page has been deleted and re-posted. We had a large number of people cancel on the trip so I decided to start a fresh page with no old threads etc.

If you're going to be in Glacier between August 15-21 please let me know! As of now, we stilll have 4 hikers committed to the trip. Would love to meet anyone who happens to be in the area during this time frame!!

“You probably don't want too many people on the trip. Remember, you have to have a permit and the campsites aren't all that big. You share them with other groups. Some weren't too bad, but some you were right on top of each other.”

“Indeed, Ginny, you do need permits for all members of the trip. We had two groups originally, one of the groups fell apart. I'm posting this more for the fact that I hope other groups with permits will see our trip and know we're there. I was in Glacier last year, didn't find the sites to be all that bad, but you're right, with two tents per site it could get tight.”
