Where are good places to get clothing for kids at a resonable price.
They have boots and stuff like that but finding clothing for them is another story.

And Kmart, ect for nylon pants (although if you have any little girls they'll have to wear boys' clothes).
REI has great spring and summer clearances in the kid dept. I've gotten my little one zip-off pants for $9 (doesn't seem like such a bargan but they were orginally $35 and are just like tiny versions of mine feature wise) coolmax long sleeve shirts for $7, etc. If you have one close by take a look. Try their garage sales too. I got Abby a pair of $55 Keen sandals for $9 last month. They're indestructable!

I didn't realize that so many people knew about the Starvation Army store.

Perhaps you can help with post-Dennis efforts: The Salvation Army In Place to
Respond to Hurricane Dennis
The Salvation Army is stocked and ready to meet the needs of those affected by the impending Hurricane Dennis in the Florida Panhandle.

According to the National Hurricane Center, this is the largest storm to strike the United States this early in the season since 1957.

We buy a lot of our summer hiking geat at the factory outlet stores. Prices are very reasonable for things like shorts and wicking shirts from the Nike store.

Thrift stores are the way to go. My sister-in-law is the queen of thrift store shopping, as she has to be with a small income and four small children. But she gets these fantastic expensive name brand clothes. She keeps them clean while her kids wear them. Then eventually sells the outfits on ebay for more than she originally paid for it.
