Europeans promoting smart agricultureView MessagesViewing posts 1 to 7 of 7 messages posted.
“Got a news bit on NPR this morning. Kudos to a bit of European environmental politics. Farmers are getting added subsidies for practicing good environmental policies...eg. not tilling up to the edge of a waterway...or planting a field of wildflowers for songbirds...or not using dangerous chemicals. They also get all subsidies stripped if they are found in violation of environmental policies. We could learn a few things over here?” 9:25:36 AM 7/12/05 “lmao, i thought my posts weren't going through, but it was because I had feugo turned off. DUH!!” 9:27:37 AM 7/12/05 “You mean they actually punish someone for breaking environmental law? We could learn a few things here.” 9:27:42 AM 7/12/05 “Wow, IJ is so pumped about this he posted it 4x over 2 threads.” 9:29:15 AM 7/12/05 “Well, is it promotingor practicing???
