“Both my kids' names were on the list last year, but only my daughter's name got used for a storm. Of course, my son's name starts with "W" so it was unlikely.

lz, the lists only go to "W", so it would have to be an insanely bad year for there to be a "Hurricane Zac".

Mike are you usually such a MORON !! My son and family happen to live in Cancun in the path of the Cat 5 hurricane with about 20 hours before landfall... I am sure he would think kindly of your comments.”

More Mexicans could be impacted if Emily hit Alabama than if it hit Cancun. THAT is my problem with Mexico. I've got NO use for the place.

“I have no problem with legal immigrants from ANY country. I have a BIG problem with illegal aliens. I also have a problem with ANYONE who comes to live in my country without knowledge of my language and without any desire to learn the language.

We shouldn't HAVE to learn Spanish to communicate with them in the US. They should HAVE to learn English. I think learning Spanish is nice if you want to do it but no one should be forced to learn it just to communicate with the illigal aliens (who have no business here) in our cities. There are Mexican children in my daughter's school who can't speak English and whose parents refused to help when asked. They have to make the teachers learn Spanish to communicate with them IN SCHOOL!! C'mon! That takes away from MY CHILD'S education.

The fact that Mexico's leadership encourages them to come here illegally is why I have a problem with the country and not just a problem with the illegals here in our country.

Now, I've explained my position and while there is plenty more to be said, I'll be happy to let this drop if y'all want. It looks like there are some overly sensitive people here and I do not want ot turn this into a flame thread. Actually, if I want to talk politics there are more suitable places to go. This is a great forum for outdoors activities and I don't want to get in the way of that.”
