Allagash River, Non-BP-but I need help anyway “Has anyone ever paddled the 92mile Allagash Wilderness Waterway in Maine? I am thinking of doing this in the middle of August with a friend and have some questions I cannot answer online....like? Can it be done in 7 days, what are the bugs like in August in middle Maine, are there tons of boy scouts invading the river (nothing against boy scouts). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
