Iroquois would technically be an option to as it is a spur trail that goes to the summit, no?

Yeah, I guess Iroquois would be an option, but it very little uphill from the col between it and Algonquin, so we may as well go...

It might be a good idea to drop packs before Iroquois though. The scrub is pretty think in spots. Sherpaman duly nicknamed the herd path "The Coat Ripper."

sooooo, should i plan to travel on thursday and monday?

or would flying home sunday night be an option?

in order to properly do this trip Roam, you will need to move to Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania is the only proper staging ground.
EarthNsky

besides, PA has 14ers too and we have way, way, way more than Colorado, California and Washington put together. NJ and MD also have their share of 14ers. There are enough 14ers in the tri-state area to last a peak bagger a lifetime. The only difference is our 14ers are 1400 and yours are 14,000, but still.

I think it would depend on where you fly in and out of. Albany airport is about 2.5 hours from the trailhead. The only thing is it will probably cost more to fly to.

Can you ensure no rain for Gothics, please? Or should I just start working on my spruce-grabbing and crab-walking now?

Funny...
They should breed spruces with better grips, and maybe ones that seep aloe instead of sap; it's much better for your hands anyway :)

Not sure Delhi is in the Catskills, but possibly on the very western (not northern) slopes. The gateway perhaps. Definitely out of the Catskill Park.

Delaware County in itself, is very beautiful.
