Pathman in San Francisco Labor Day Weeke nd

“I get to go to SF on somebody else's nickel. Giving a 30 min talk and then I am pretty much free. It is at an international congress that has very little to do with me or my interests. Turns out that if I get permission from home, I could extend that till Wed. What's happening out there? Any chance of hitching a ride to Muir Woods, Pt. Reyes, Pt. Lobo, or the like?”

“ooohhh... my bike!”

“you are a travellin' fool, Pathman! so how the heck do you take your bike on a plane anyway? disassemble it and stick it in a box or something?”

“Bike boxes are great. You do have to take the bike apart, though (and remember how to put it back together!)”

“Hey Pathman, We haven't quite finalized our family vacation plans yet, so we may not be in town, but there is a good chance I/we could be available for a hike, or even a bike ride! I will keep you updated....”

“Alas Bowlder a few made it out. I just talked to Sol and Nav,wanna, LS and Om are going to the Portal tonight/today(by car).
Pathman I'll keep looking in to see what the latest is with your plans. I hate to travel those long wknds. but for a visitor I can make an exception if I have time.”

“I'm not much for being on the highway on holiday weekends either. I think cycling the Golden Gate Park, the Golden Gate bridge,and some of the Pacific Coast Bicycle Route would be fun. When I lived in the area, most of my riding was in the East Bay, especially Alameda and the Oakland Hills, Skyline Drive area.”
