“Not really, but I wanted to catch everyone's attention.

Sometime in the next three weeks, "she who must be obeyed" (Actually, my devoted bride) and I will be packing up and heading to Coral Springs Floirda for the next chapter in our life. I will begin the practice of law with my brother and other insane lawyers in Fort Lauderdale. I will be offline from move day untilwe get settled in if Florida, but I will really enjoy catching up with all of you once we get settled in and hook up the magic box and its keyboard.

“The decision to be a lawyer was made many many moons ago. I enjoy the mental challenge. And contrary to many peoples thoughts about lawyers, everyone needs an advocate now and then, and I try to do the best for my clients. I know there are many out there who simply chase the next buck (or ambulance), but anyone who has ever been genuinely injured knows the value of a good lawyer.

As far as Florida goes, my brother is in practice in Fort Lauderdale and wants me to join him. I have had it with Chicago winters and standing on the EL platform freezing waiting for trains that don't come and feeling like I can never get warm again. SO his offer sounded very good. Also, I have been watching the weather reports in Florida and Ft. Laud/Miami has been nicer than Chicago this summer. So of we go to Florida in August.”

“Can't transport Anyone. It happened again last night. Some problem on the Brown Line (what an apprpriate name) SO all the brown and purple line trains were circling the loop over and over again. Finally got off at State and Lake and went underground to the red line.

Of course none of the CTA employees had a damn clue as to what was going on. They have NO contingency plans at all. Every time something happens they just wing it”

“I have one...but it wasnt me that was nakid...

a bunch of college friends and I went camping one night, we got there after dark and hiked down this very steep trail into a river canyon- it was so steep we had to use rope holds and use trees to break our falls LOL CRAZY. On top of all that, my buddies brought along a giant tent- a 12 person tent with 3 rooms (rolling eyes) 2 24 packs of beer and other silly stuff. I brought a day pack with a tarp, my sleeping bag and my breakfest. Anyway we partied into the we hours and finially went to sleep. I slept out under the stars freakin everyone out by making animal noises (LMAO). In the middle of the night we were indeed visited by a bear- just accros the creek from camp, and by a coyote, who had circled me only inches away investigating. (COOL!) When we woke up in the morning, the beech we were camping on was covered in nakid people :|. Hairy hippy chicks no less....UGH.”

“yes, the coyote prints were unmistakeable. Didn't bother with coffee (all we had was beer- remeber, this was college!) we jsut packed up and climbed outta there before it got too unbearable hot.

“I strippe down this morning to change clothes. It was raining and I didn't figure there was anyone within miles. About 10 minutes after I got dressed, someone comes walking up the CS in the rain and dumps his pack and asks where the water source is.

Damn backpackers, always hiking in the rain.”
