“It is already raining hard in Mammoth, like right now. The hurricane is helping set off some big storms over the entire state.

I just talked with a ranger down there and she said if the forecast holds, the green river should have risen enough by the end of the week to open the ferry again. She said that they expect anywhere from 3 to 6 inches of rain in the next 4 days.

I know we are still more than 2 months away from this trip, but I hope this will get water levels back to normal! Actually I would love to see what the wet slong portions of the trails are like!”
