WK, I assume from your posts you live near chicago or somewhere up north? If so you'll have to come within a half mile of my house. Interested in carpooling/convoying or do you just want to meet at the trail head? Don't need to decide now of course, trip's over a month away.”

I have a pup of my own, she won't be coming though. I don't think anyone will have a problem with it.

I am in Highland which is 30 miles from Chi-Town. I may be bringing someone, but do not know yet. I drive a Jeep Wrangler so I will not have enough room for us, at least I do not think. We can, however, stop and say hi to the misses (unless she comes with) to put her at ease. I don't want her thinking I am some crazy pshcho lunitic. Wait a minute...Nicole, don't respond to that!

Seems I work that weekend..but no problem, I can use some PTO maybe...if no one else is off on vacation. I'll let ya'll know.

“Time, yes we will be near 2 sources of water when we reach camp on day one. Make sure to carry enough for the hike on Saturday. 2 nalgenes should be plenty. As it stands, I count roughly 6-7 peeps showing for this trip. Were we will be camping, there is plenty of room to accomidate this pls more. Don't worry about "to many," we can always find room.
