Hoosier National Forest in September

“A separate one, I guess, timecline. The only trip I am going on from this group is WK's Mammoth Cave trip right now. I have a pair of friends that wanted me to plan a trip so I asked them on my monthly hike (I usually go alone). It was to Northern Wisconsin. One could go but the other could not, so I moved the hike to the Hoosier National Forest at WK's recommendation. It worked out well.

WK: Beer is an anytime proposition.

I a still going on the Wisconsin trip in late September. I have it posted but it's not a public trip. I'll turn it public so you can see my original plans. I was going this alone as always.

I was going to use this to coax my friends to go but it was of no use...

October I am returning for 30 miles of Ice Age Trail in Wisconsin (Jerry Lake Segment and Chippewa Lobe, see my picture). In November it's Mammoth Caves. I haven't planned December out yet. Thinking of doing some snowshoeing.

I looked this morning and the angels were singing when the weather forecast popped up for Bloomington.

It could drop another 10 degrees for the highs and I wouldn't mind.”
