Jet overruns runway in Toronto, burns
"An Air France passenger jet carrying about 200 passengers overran a runway and burst into flames Tuesday at Toronto's Pearson International Airport. Smoke billowed from the site, as scores of emergency workers sought to put the fire out."

Developing story.

About 14 people suffered minor injuries, said Steve Shaw, chairman of the Greater Toronto Airports Authority.

How great is that!?!

Air France jet landed too far down runway

"... we will try to determine whether this had a major or critical effect."

"'I think they landed a little fast, a little long and probably hydroplaned,' said Capt. Tom Bunn, ..."

"In a statement Thursday, the union said the crash occurred 'at an international airport that, unfortunately, does not meet international standards.'"
