“I know that I am kinda new and psoting much, but our workplace internet has outlawed any sites that have photographs so text based sites are my thing now...but I degress. Do any of you suffer an ache in your knees the next day after you drink a beer or two? I never have had any knee related injuries, but i have noticed this for several years when I do drink, once a month maybe. A friend of mine was allergic to something in the beer and he had joint pain but I do not think that is my case. Any one experience this? No it is not related to post drinking operations while on my knees....:) I know where some of ya'll minds go.” 10:16:30 AM 8/10/05 “Are you banging your knees into stuff while you're drunk? That could cause it.” 10:30:11 AM 8/10/05 “Not possible - Beer is good for you.” 10:30:30 AM 8/10/05 “lol no not getting drunk just drinking a few.” 10:36:01 AM 8/10/05 “no but killians give's me the toots :)” 10:36:04 AM 8/10/05 “On a more serious note, you may have a touch of gout in your knees. Alcohol can exacerbate this.” 10:37:45 AM 8/10/05 “"post drinking operations" - kneeling in front of the porcelain throne - kinky positions with female Am I missing any other "post drinking operations"? ;-)” 10:39:08 AM 8/10/05 “A friend has the same reaction to wine, because of a mild allergy to sulfites in the wine. Does the beer you drink have anything like that in it?” 10:41:10 AM 8/10/05 “dont know but I will check into that. Noticed it is more severe when I drink dark beer. i.e. Yeungling dark or Amber-Bock. I'm not into microbrews, not edjykated enough to drink those.” 10:59:12 AM 8/10/05 “freight, dark beers do some funky things to me too(see above post, in addition to that one i usually have a head ache the next day...not a hangover head ache though, cause this happens even after 2 or 3 beers...but i'll take that over drinking that warm pizz some people call beer (see choors, bud, miller etc.)” 11:07:21 AM 8/10/05 “It took me years to figure out why I had knee pain after drinking beer and if it were not for a single episode of NOT drinking in a blackout I still wouldn't know. It's very simple. When I drink I pee a lot. When finished I give it the customary two or three shakes and, being a little inebriated I shake a little too vigorously and repeatedly bang it against my knees. Hope my experience helps.” 5:31:04 PM 8/10/05 “I had the same problem until my doctor told me to stop resting the keg on my knee while I drank.” 5:34:09 PM 8/10/05 “HA HA...i was hoping someone would bump this thread, 3 times is playing with it nimble” 5:34:12 PM 8/10/05 “Amazing coincidence. Within 60 seconds of each other, I just coincidentally read this thread, right after reading this: http://www.realage.com/news_features/tip.aspx?v=1&cid=17311” 12:08:14 AM 10/25/06 Pain 7:20:01 AM 12/14/06 “treebait - It appears that some forms of sulfur can help the knees. MSM contains Methylsulfonylmethane. Glucosamine contains Glucosamine Sulfate.” 9:19:14 AM 12/14/06 “My girlfriend was telling me about MSM. I have not tried it yet.” 2:17:21 PM 12/14/06 “Beer makes a broken leg feel better. Well, no, that's not true. Beer makes a person who has a broken leg feel better.” 2:32:05 PM 12/14/06 “My PT told me not to waste my money on Glucosamine Sulfate because it doesn't work. I think this was the stuff he was talking about. I would go with the beer.” 2:38:37 PM 12/14/06 “Ah, alcohol. The cause and cure to all the world’s problems.” 2:41:46 PM 12/14/06 “for the record, I disagree w/ WKs doctor. No offense dude.” 2:42:50 PM 12/14/06 “acupuncture works best! to bad my insurance doesn't pay for it. it gets to be pricey but i'm ready to go back for more treatments.” 5:28:44 PM 12/14/06
