Sarge's Question

“I have a serious question for everyone on trailtalk.

I have actually been considering this question for several weeks, and have now decided to pose it.

If you have followed dialog between me and many others on here, you will understand why I am posing this question. This isn't a trick, and it's not a ploy for attention, something I'm often accused of. Between all of the joking, and all of the seriousness, I don't know what to believe anymore. That being said, here is the result of that.

I will make the decision to leave trailtalk forever depending on the results of honest responses here.

This isn't a "vote", so I will not base the decision on a score, but will base the decision on an overall feeling, attempting to weed out trolls, etc... Unfortunately it will be subjective in nature, but its possible the results will go overwhelming one way or the other and it won't seem as subjective. I don't believe the majority is always right, but I do believe if this community would rather I were gone I will graciously back out and I do appreciate many of your (virtual) friendships while it lasted.

I will not post on this thread until Friday night of this week, unless the thread stays relatively active beyond that, so don't ask me any questions or post something that demands my response please.

The question is simple:

Do you want me to leave trailtalk?”

Just get to know some of the people here. Personally. Take some of the trips. There are trips that don't involve hiking if you're injured. AND EVERYBODY HERE CAN POST WITHOUT SNIPING AT EACH OTHER.
