Copper Falls State Park - Work and Fun W eekend

“Copper Falls State Park (Mellen, WI) September 17 – 18th

Work and Fun Weekend.

Are you interested in helping to do trail maintenance along the North Country Trail in beautiful Copper Falls State Park.

On Saturday September 17th , the Heritage Chapter and the Chequamegon Chapters of the North Country Trail Association are doing a joint chapter work day.

Come help the trail and meet new people.

We will still have plenty of time to have a cook out Saturday evening (we will provide Brats and burgers for Saturday night) and then relax around the fire Saturday night. On Sunday morning, those who want, can go for a hike around the falls.

We can camp at the park with no charge, just tell them you are working with the North Country Trail and they will tell you where we will meet. We have a group site reserved for both Friday and Saturday night. I will be getting there on Friday afternoon.

You can come for one or two days, or just spend the weekend. It is up to you. We do want you to be there by 9:00 am Saturday morning so we can hike out to where we will be doing the work.
