Nope, not me. Never think about it.

WoooHoooo! In three more months I'll be cruising downhill and in four months, I'll be sliding and snowshoeing on the trails.

I\'m lovin it?
Yeah, I'm lovin it for the first few months, then it starts getting old, shoveling and snowblowing.

But, then in March, I'll be rushing out, trying to ski on the last bit of snow, feeling sad watching it, all melt away? LOL

Ever try it?
Hey SC, you ever try X-country sking, its a lot of fun and its like hiking as well, were you can go at your own pace.

Nothing like flying down a narrow trail, out of control with tree's wizzin by your head! LOL!

have you ever spent a whole freakin winter shoveling rock hard snow only to have teh plows come around and bury your work again? Have you had to drive from worm in white out with an ice slick for a street and lose control of your car? Yup, snow is evil.

You'll get used to it SC. Think how awful it was for the midwestern folks driving around you! ;)

I didn't get my skis out last winter, or the snowshoes, because of my tendonitis and mutant toe-bone growth removal. This year I hope to be buried in snow with snow days upon snowdays!

My AT skis are leaning on the wall beside my table. They are scraped and ready to wax. I'll get my snowshoes out of the shed this week and have them leaning on the wall beside my front door.

The only worry is the huge hole under me house. The plumber can't look at my pump before next week-end and then I'll finish insulating my piping and start the process of filling in dirt and closing the hole in my foundation.

This ought to prevent my water from freezing in the winter so that I can get out and have some fun.

XC ski? I dream about it year round when I hike my ski trails. Hot wax and burning p-tex!

Tele anyone?
I took my last tele turns this June up in the Beartooths. I'm already getting geared up for this winter (which could start in October)! I'm looking for some Garmont Excursion boots, size 29.5 if anyone has a line on them. I'm using some borrowed Scarpa T2s until then.

I was just thinking about X/C skiing, too.
The best store around (X/C Ski Headquarters in Roscommon, Mi) is having their huge annual sale this weekend. I'm going to try to score a pair of skate-skis.

Yeah DH, when you have 9 months of winter (and 3 months of relatives), skiing's on your mind a lot!

I bought my season pass at Killington for the 2005-2006 season in May this year. I can hardly wait!
