The shady trip...

“Join the Indiana Adventure Club at Shades State Park. We will meet 9am Chicago time at the backpacker trailhead parking lot. We will backpack in set up camp and then dayhike various trails to out hearts content (there are about 15 miles of trails) that lead to waterfalls etc. with varying levels of difficulty. Great trip for begginers!”

i will try to make this one. my cousins daughter has a wedding at 230 in tipton county, so save a seat by the fire for me! i may even come in the morning, leave for the wedding and come back in the late afternoon”

If you are thinking about making this hike the first for your wife, it would be perfect for her. I want to say the hake from the beginning of the backpackers trail to where they will camp for the night is about 3 miles.”

“Tons of dayhiking! Make sure your guys take trail 4 (I think) The trail is up through a gorge that you have to use ladders to get to diferent levels.”

“So far for sure, mike and I, a new club member for sure and his 7 year old (possible).

The limit per first come backpack site is 6 and two tents. But there are 7 backpack sites.”

so get there before then. I will probebly hang out at camp watching my babies. we will be in the backpackers camp. We were going to decide on dayhiking trails when we got there-I know mike wants to do the toughest ones. But someone is bringing his kid on her first BP trip (shes 7) so some may do easier trails.

NOW GIVE ME MY PARKING PERMIT!"”
