I’m just curious to know if you’ve completely abandoned your film cameras. I just purchased my first serious digital SLR, a Nikon D70s. So far I’m happy with it. I have to admit, my expectations weren’t terribly high. I didn’t want to be disappointed so I kept my expectations low. It’s seriously exceeded them so far. My biggest problem with prints made from digitally acquired files is that you can spot them a mile away. The flesh tones just have a look for one thing. I haven’t noticed that with my new SLR.

What are you shooting with for a digital camera now? How do you like it? Have you gotten your issue with the reds resolved? I’m still learning how to do a manual white balance with my D70s. So far the auto white balance has been pretty decent.

I've got time to talk New Orleans and storms and rebuilding, etc.... but other than that am getting ready for a trip and PER USUAL way behind completing stories, remembering to get ice, cleaning, packing, making sure I have maps.

I don't wanna think about digitals and SLRs right now, too much else to think about. (Got a 10-track mind and right now all tracks are full, lol)
