And that of Dobie Gillis and Zelda Gilroy, for sure.
Dobie's dad was a model for kind and gentle fathers too.

“Awhile back, during an interview, Dawn Wells who played Mary Ann on the TV show Gilligan's Island claimed

that even though the show only had about 75 original episodes that those episodes have run and rerun for a greater total of appearances on TV worldwide than any TV show ever produced.

Maynard was known for flinching and saying in a hysterical disdaining tone 'work!!!' everytime he heard the word 'work'.
