“anyone use this site www.flickr.com to post pictures on other than 11:34:15 AM 9/13/05 “Ewker, Flickr.com is yahoo's new picture site” 11:36:58 AM 9/13/05 “Gem, how does it compare to webshots or pbase” 11:38:43 AM 9/13/05 “I don't know. I haven't really tried it yet. I did upload a couple pictures, and I liked that it does resize it for you in different sizes. Really neet. Picture code comes with each pic too... I found that uploading time is slower. I can't tell you about downtime,etc... free account: you have ONLY 20MB upload limited per month. That isn't really alot of you upload high quality pictures. $25/year: 2gb per month. I guess that's okay. everything is unlimited if u pay $25. I like that. Hmm...I may move my stuff over there” 11:49:21 AM 9/13/05 “Ewker, why can't I respond to this? Did I do something wrong?” 11:53:15 AM 9/13/05 “sure you can respond..no one said you couldn't” 12:06:41 PM 9/13/05 “I misunderstood. I thought you said other than mountainpeak. A negative of it is that to make your pictures private your friends/family have to have an account to see them. It doesn't allow you to just give out a password. :( It does allow you to link to it and that's nice if you have a personal website with limited memory. Gemini hit on some of the technical stuff. It's in beta and doesn't have the greatest interface/features yet. Maybe someday.” 12:13:01 PM 9/13/05 “Wow, they have nudie pics there!” 12:13:23 PM 9/13/05 “Flickr has some pretty frickin awesome remote scripting (AJaX) interface components. Beyond that.....I dunno.” 12:39:26 PM 9/13/05
