anyone use this site www.flickr.com to post pictures on other than s_rge mountainpeak. It is the 2nd time I have heard about it plus it is free (limited) BTW it is a Yahoo company

I don't know. I haven't really tried it yet. I did upload a couple pictures, and I liked that it does resize it for you in different sizes. Really neet. Picture code comes with each pic too...

I found that uploading time is slower.
I can't tell you about downtime,etc...

free account: you have ONLY 20MB upload limited per month. That isn't really alot of you upload high quality pictures.

$25/year: 2gb per month. I guess that's okay. everything is unlimited if u pay $25. I like that.

I misunderstood. I thought you said other than mountainpeak.

A negative of it is that to make your pictures private your friends/family have to have an account to see them. It doesn't allow you to just give out a password. :(

It does allow you to link to it and that's nice if you have a personal website with limited memory.

Gemini hit on some of the technical stuff.

It's in beta and doesn't have the greatest interface/features yet. Maybe someday.

Flickr has some pretty frickin awesome remote scripting (AJaX) interface components.

Beyond that.....I dunno.
