Farewell Digital Drifter

“The website known as Digital Drifter was retired and deleted from my former ISP. It has grown to be far too large for the cost at my former ISP/host and there were secruity problems with the site. So it was replaced. The site was replaced with Exavius.com if you wish to update your bookmarks.

There's still lots of clean up work to do and I'm several entries behind on posting some outings, but it's coming together here now that I've relocated to Central California. The site should be debugged and cleaned up in about another week.

Exavius. Pronounced Ex-ay-vee-us. Meaning, in Latin, Out from the Untrodden.”

We moved to Reedley between Sanger and Selma. 20 miles South of Fresno. Nestled below the Western Sierra foothills next to Orange Cove. North of Windwalker and South of Hikin Mike. 14 minutes from the highway into Kings Canyon. On a clear day, the Great Western Divide is in view from our backyard.

There's an explosion of stars overhead at night. You can actually see stars above from here.”

Just for a bit. The company I've interviewed with has done reference checks on me, credit history check, verification of my degrees and a criminal background check. Drug testing is next.

The web site has come down until after they're done and I'm onboard.

Today I got the offer to join them though. I start October 17th without much of a reduction in earnings. Hope it works out. =)”
