They said mixing a cat with 4 dogs is a bad idea.

in college, my housemates had two dogs, two cats, 3 fishtanks, two ferrets, and one bird that didn't last too long. :)

i have to cats, but they live with my fiance now. i really, really, really miss them.”

“smiley- all the pets get along reasonably well - probably because we handle them all so much. the cats will spend hours watching the smaller critters but get all snooty if approched by one when they are out of their pens (i think the cats are secretly afraid of anything smaller than they are).
unfortunately any flying birds are considered fair game by the dog, but she plays mom to all the other pets.
