Cave men also had to chase down their prey and kill it with rocks and sticks. I never had to chase down a bratwurst or a pork chop.

I am not a fan of diets that don't relate to establishing changes in eating habits.

Thats how mike eats...one meal a day really...a big meal too...and he stays slim...yet when I make he eat 3 square meals, he gains weight!

well....I just fill the trogh and let him have at it :D He fights for his food between the dogs and him...its all good and I dont even have to hose off the messy table anymore!

That's what I do, one big meal a day, for one hour only. Then for the rest of the day, nothing but a little salad and cottage cheese for lunch. It works. That and 7 miles on the treadmill in the morning.

Our bodies aren't meant to process raw foods anymore. (digestion problems, etc.) We've already evolved away from that. Some foods, like tomatoes actually release more nutrients (in tomato's case: lycopene) when heated.

But to eat all those veggies, fruits and whole grains of course is healthy. Skip the raw and stay with the diets based on nutritious foods. Ah heck! We all know what healthy eating is. We don't need some stinkin' diet to tell us.
