Color Preference???
I am going to order this guy right now...

What color would you get? They have it in green and grey.

My favorite color is grey, but I have never owned a green tent. Which one should I buy?

Probably the green

WK, if you want to hide, get the grey. If you want people to see you and you like cheery colors, get the green.

I like that tent. It looks doable!

Lime Green is pretty cool! You will be the coolest hiker out there!

Get the green one. And by green one I mean the $60 green tarp at Campmor and take the $190+ and buy some good scotch. :)

Does either color make you look fat?

I wish I could drink scotch!

Nothing could make me look fat, you know that Bit.

Pixie kinda hit on it above. Will the green be better for a reason or the grey?

Well, this is sorta a "believe-it-or-don't" thing, but hardcore LNT'ers believe that your tent color should blend in more with the forest. Like I said, believe it or don't.

However, should you get into a situation where you need to be found, the lime green would probably be best.

My Bibler Bivy weighs the same, so this is pretty darn good!

Note: Does not include tent poles and stakes! It needs 6 stakes (3 oz total as they sell them) and a tent pole (1.8 oz) unless you can use your trekking pole.

So I think it will be heavier than my Bivy in the end, but not that much. It looks like a good alternative to a Bivy bag for those that don't like them.

I like that it isn't single wall. Good for us folks that live in a climate that has a lot of condensation issues.

WK, I personally like cheery colors. And if you like to camp out in hunting areas, being seen is a good thing. ; )

I bought the green one to match my eyes.

These are special stakes pitts. A review I read from someone said he had planned to use stakes from his other tent, but you need the long ones.

I will be using a trekking pole with it as well. You will be able to see it on the Mammoth Cave trip.

By the way, if I were to bring another tent home my wife would make me live in it for about 6 months in the front yard! The last one was for sure the straw!

I like the green. It's good to be able to find your tent. And yet green doesn't stand out like a sore thumb. Green is good. All my shelters are green except for one. If it had come in green I'd have gotten it.

Pixie said it's not a single wall tent, but isn't it? Talks about a canopy over the mesh, but isn't that just a small area of overlap? And sure, it has a vestibule

I've got the TarpTent and have a vague idea how these things work. LOL!

You can have it any color that's yellow or lime. Yellow says to the rangers 'hey, over here!' and lime / green says 'hey, I'm hiding, but I'm over here!'
