Ok ok ill stop with the rentals now. :D” 10:09:25 PM 11/02/07 “memento. christopher nolan. i'll watch anything he directs (batman begins, the prestige)” 10:27:33 PM 11/02/07 “didnt see the prestige, but im assuming by your response that it was good???” 10:33:11 PM 11/02/07 “it was very good” 10:43:34 PM 11/02/07 “actually i generally base my movie watching on whatever appeals to me when im in the movie store. Exactly! Some of my top 10 favorite movies would be torn apart by people. I don't care. I watch the movies for me. Even sometimes when a movie has a predictable storyline there can be other elements of the movie that totally save it. I never used to look at film as true art but they really do catch my interest in the same way. I saw Mr. Brooks with Kevin Costner last weekend and thought it was one of the most original and interesting movies I've seen in nearly a year.” 2:34:01 AM 11/03/07 “crash, since we pretty much like the exact same stuff (I'm a big Kubrick fan, btw) - are you into Kurosawa? He's my favorite director. (Kubrick is fav Amer. director) If not, check him out.” 5:05:49 AM 11/03/07 “ive seen a few kurosawa films. good stuff whats your favorite kubrick?” 5:13:30 AM 11/03/07 “2001, just got the blu-ray last night which is also my #1 overall love FMJ, Clkwrk, A.I. ( I consider that 95% kubrick), ... you?” 5:55:15 AM 11/03/07 “if i had to pick a kubrick, i'd pick 2001. but barely. HA! now i know why youre such an ID cheerleader. you think the aliens did it! AI is an under-rated movie” 6:15:40 AM 11/03/07 “nigal!!! i almost grabbed that movie when we were there the other night, but we opted for reign over me. definitely going to get it next time. i loooooooooooooove dane cook. did you think he played the role well or was he too silly???” 4:02:09 PM 11/03/07 “I won't watch anything directed by M Night Shamalamadingdong.” 6:16:18 PM 11/03/07 “shymalan started out really awesome with the sixth sense, and unbreakable was pretty good, but he just started going downhill. the ending to the village just pissed me off” 7:09:11 PM 11/03/07 “i loooooooooooooove dane cook. did you think he played the role well or was he too silly??? To be perfectly honest he was so good I didn't even realize it was him at first. He was very believable.” 7:27:23 PM 11/03/07 “cb - yup!” 8:15:27 PM 11/03/07 “the village was so lame I don't even remember the ending” 8:53:46 PM 11/03/07 “good to hear. i havent seen any other movies that he was in and suprised he was in a more serious movie. ill def. check it out.” 8:58:43 PM 11/03/07 “Early Movie Review: 3-D Spectacle "Beowulf" is Fun "300" as Played by WWE Characters. LOL” 6:29:45 PM 11/15/07 “I took my daughter to see "The Bee Movie". It was cute and worth seeing, but not quite the crowd pleaser that Shrek was.” 10:28:26 PM 11/15/07 “ok, so its release date is today (11/16) and i just cant tell you how excited i am for Love in the Time of Cholera seriously. amazing read, and im just hoping beyond hope that they put it into film respectively. *crossing my fingers*” 11:06:25 PM 11/15/07 “Saturday afternoon Birch took Abby and I to see "Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium". I was in the depths of despair prior to going. It cheered me right up. It was absolutely charming. Birch managed to stay awake for all but ten minutes, Abby and I were enthralled. I loved it. It was imagination and hope and believing all wrapped up in one hour and thirty three minutes of great family film. Dustin Hoffman was fantastic. ****” 6:16:50 AM 11/20/07 “Huh, lots of people around here totally panned it. Laurel's kind of interested, though.” 6:18:03 AM 11/20/07 “Watched Ratatouille on the 10'er last night with some friends. Chef Skinner IS Gollum. Anybody else notice that. I swear they made Gollum, and then changed the image map when they rendered him.” 8:34:24 PM 11/21/07 “anyone see love in the time of cholera yet? anyone else want to?” 3:02:25 PM 12/29/07 “yea, lets go. youre buying the popcorn” 3:05:01 PM 12/29/07 “Sounds pretty jacked up to me. Either like victorian porn, or a twisted desire to spread disease by having lots off sex with muliple partners.” 3:05:38 PM 12/29/07 “or one of the best love stories ever written! now go read the book! NOW! crash...sweeeet. ill buy popcorn, you buy the dots??” 3:08:52 PM 12/29/07 “damn it. I get told to go read a book while Crash (WHO IS IN SOUTH PHUKING KOREA) gets a date. WTF?!!! I'm across the GD room, and get told to go read a friggin book!” 3:16:40 PM 12/29/07 “hahaha!!! well here ya go hey mean ya wanna go see juno??? (go imdb it, i think youd like it)” 3:17:54 PM 12/29/07 “W/E now it's a sympathy thing. LOL! I tried to get you to go see Lost or WETF that movie was about the kid dying in the bus, but got stood up then, and I am betting I'd get stood up again. ;-) Don't buy it folks she's nothin but a tease! LOL!” 3:22:27 PM 12/29/07 “I bet she stands you up when she does the tease” 3:50:18 PM 12/29/07 looks like the green monsters got a hold of mg “ ”3:51:02 PM 12/29/07 6:42:14 AM 1/23/08 “the new star trek teaser is out btw” 11:56:53 AM 1/23/08 “Do not, under any circumstances, go see "In the Name of the King". I didn't know anything about it, but my wife took me on my birthday because she thought I would like it. One of the worst movies ever made. My wife kept saying, "I'm really sorry" throughout the entire thing. When the credits rolled, the entire theater breathed a sigh of relief. Bad writing, cheesy delivery, the costumers couldn't decide if they wanted "period" costumes or modern (so, they went with period costumes with modern material and seams), the protagonist wields a boomerang, Ray Liota looks like Wayne Newton, and Burt Freaking Reynolds is the king! After the first scene, I almost walked out of the theater (which I never do).” 1:48:20 PM 1/23/08 “Never heard of it, fortunately.” 1:49:29 PM 1/23/08 “Yeah, looks pretty bad too. Too bad, it's got Leelee in it. I was really hoping her career would go in an upward swing.” 2:24:15 PM 1/23/08 “My wife kept saying, "I'm really sorry" throughout the entire thing. LOL @ ASUDave. Thanks for the warning, man!” 2:26:02 PM 1/23/08 “Burt Freaking Reynolds is the king Ol' Bert is a funny dude.” 2:32:38 PM 1/23/08 “Yes thanks for the warning. That happened to us sitting through "Gods and Generals"” 2:37:46 PM 1/23/08 “you gotta muck up every thread, dont you, xl?” 2:51:38 PM 1/23/08 “I think Leelee was pretty hot in this movie as was Kristanna Loken. Its not like the cast isn't halfway decent, that's why I don't get why the delivery was so cheesy. Must have been really bad writing and directing. Jason Statham (why my wife really wanted to see this) Leelee Sobieski John Rhys-Davies (Gimli from LOTR) Ron Perlman Ray Liotta Burt Reynolds Maybe just too many actors who's career is either on the way up or on the way down.” 3:45:26 PM 1/23/08 “hey ... with actors like these ... I can't understand what the problem was! Ron Perlman Ray Liotta Burt Reynolds lol” 3:58:40 PM 1/23/08 “looking forward to seeing cloverfield later tonight” 10:26:47 PM 1/25/08 Jump to Page << prev
