lets also accuse everyone who disagrees with us as having a political agenda. that is also trendy

if we believe in global warming, the abortionists win

crash bang, the video contains the hard data, actually gives more than techntrek is.

It's funny he said Bison 'ran away' when he has ignored the hard facts from the video.

plus if he had seen it hed know why his graph is not significant ke XL400236 is trying to tell him.

Ive always been a manmade global warming believer until seeing the hard ddata in that show, and your [really techntreks] reluctance to see it or comment on it solidifies that people of the movement arent willing to have a 4eal discussion about it, as the show accurately points out.

I don't care one way or the other how you believe. Its silly claiming (techntrek) victory when you wont look at someone elses conclusions.

Yes but to say there is no political agenda is just intellectually dishonest. The global warming agenda is being used most by those who stand to gain the most from the propagation of it. Politicians and scientists. One for votes and one for the funding.

Personally I believe the earth will scrub itself of our presence and heal itself after we do ourselves in. It is very patient host and we are not patient tenants.

Ever read that theory on why we can't find intelligent life in the Universe?

Basically there are very specific conditions that need to exist for life to develop to a stage where it can communicate outside of it's host world. The timescale for this is short compared to the geologic timescale and totally minuscule on the timescale of events in the universe. The time from when an intelligent life form can first communicate outside it's world to when it self destructs is even smaller... so intelligent life "flashes" out there in space and it is so sparse and short-lived that the odds of it overlapping in any one piece of space and time is basically so close to zero as to be effectively zero. This basically postulates that life is essenially unstable when viewed on the timescale of the Universe.

well, instead of going on about how this video is the greatest thing since the invention of chocolate milk, why dont you refute techs arguments, using the video as your source? i really dont know why tech wont see it. im on dial-up, im not going to bother

anyway, saying "i saw a video that said..." is a pretty lame way to debate. someone could say "o yea well i saw 'an inconvenient truth' and my video kicks your videos ass" if YOU cant refute anything tech says, why bother?

I did that. For example, i talked about the videos demonstrating of the longer trends. He eont respond to that. My 'graph' to back up a claim is on the video. Its plain if you see it. I hear you about dial up, I had to see it ona tiny handheld screen.

Also the points about an agenda are clearly explained in there.

Gore owns a company that sells energy credits. He has a vested in promoting the global warming scam so he can scam money from people through his sham company.

Not-So-Perma Frost

Warming climate is taking its toll on subterranean ice

by Sid Perkins

Science News Online

Earth's warming climate is taking its toll on the permafrost that lies beneath about one-fourth of the Northern Hemisphere's land area. In many parts of the Arctic, changing patterns of precipitation and wildfires are accelerating that loss.

As the earth warms the oceans expand increasing evaporation and precipitation. More precipitation at the poles would increase the amount of ice. That is the way the earth has worked for the last several million years.
