Doesn't have to claim he's a journalist. People out "there" will take his word as fact for the following reason:

It makes sense; so then they are more likely to agree with it.

You claimed he presents, or at least his guests do, "facts". If there are "facts" to be had, then we must take a look at not only those "facts", but how those "facts" are being presented, who is presenting the "facts" and why those "facts" are being presented.

Beck is nothing less than the conservative tilt that CNN puts on in order to fend off the claims that they are a "liberal" station.

One very important "fact": Just because you agree with it, or it "makes sense", or "stands to reason", or "sounds logical", doesn't mean that "it" is a "fact". That word is thrown around so much that the general public believes what comes out of Orca's mouth (hail Al Bundy!) is a fact.


I've seen Glen's bias many times, but I've been "programed" to weed that kind of crap out now.

I guess alls I'm pointing out is that what you described is the "package" that is presented as "Glenn Beck". With that, you get, him, his opinions (or better yet, what he can agree on, or relates/appeals to the crowd), his Producers bias, his Directors bias, his writers bias (he might not even write all of his won stuff), his guests bias --- all wrapped up in a nice, neat little bias bow.


I'm not trying to pick a fight or anything, really. True to you statement, you asked if any one has seen him. I have, and he sucks -- balls and all, and is no better than any of the other crapola that's out there.

My hope is that people out there (here) remember that ole sage advice: "Don't Believe tha Hype".

His guests, no matter the night, are bias. They present very little "facts" as you claimed they did.

You did not search the background of those on the show that presented such "facts"; therefore, you just agreed with what they said, turned to us and said that what they presented were "facts".

How do you know what you saw were in did, facts?

You disagree with the global warming crowd, what they said made sense to you, and you believed it -- or else you wound not have said it was a "fact".

This is quite funny really. I'm in a new area and I was looking for a radio station and I stumble across one apparently called 'news talk'. Fiust thing I listen to is talking about George Tenent and the interviews being given.

Firstly the quotes are played to a background of 'Crying' by Roy Orbison I think. Then they spend about 20 seconds on what he actually said, followed by about 20 minutes of how bad the questions are - they don't even play Tenents replies, just the interviewer's questions.

It all became clear where the opinions of Bacpac and Arclite and suchlike come from. They're just parroting Conservative Talk Radio. They seem to lap it all up abd believe it's all true.

You don't like the message, then listen to tak radio and soon someone will come along and tell you everything is all right and it's just Media Bias.

It would be funny if so many people didn't fall for it hook-line-and-sinker.
