Evidently this report was found to be flawed by the FTC. In any event the report states that the rise in fuel costs due to mergers amounts to a few pennies per gallon or in some cases reduced pricing.

As I said if fuel refining was such a cash cow people would be building refineries all over the place.”

Where did you come up with that? There are plenty of scientists who haven't bought into the man made theory.
