That would be Johnny U!
SI.com lists the top 10. They agree that Johnny Unitas is the best.

hmmmm....

Brady, Elway, Staubach, Montana, Unitas

How can you really choose?

OK, if I had to I'd go with Elway myself if only for "The Drive"

Although Brady's pulled off some masterful pieces of work including this past Sunday. He may be working his way to the top of the list.

The better half says thinks I should have made the list. She can recall many a time where it didn't even take me two minutes.

Those who pick others usually have not seen Unitas in his prime. They correctly noted that he pretty much invented the two-minute drill.

What I can tell you is that if you were not beating the Colts by at least 7 points with two minutes left on the clock, you lost the game. If you were up by 7 you tied. It was not until late in his career that he could not pull it off.

Geezr, just think, it saves a lot of time for other things.

Me too young. I was hmmmmm.... maybe 11 years old when I witnessed the Broncos/Browns game, so it made an impression.

Good one, Geezr!! That Weezr, what a comedian!

Tough call, do I go with my homey, Brady (grew up in same city as I did); my college classmate Elway; or Mr. Cool, Joe Montana?

Unitas - didn't he play in the 1800's? ;-)

He developed that look in college, since his blockers kept letting guys through and he kept having to run for his life!

Announcers would always marvel at his scrambling ability. I always figured if he didn't learn how to scramble as a college player, he'd be dead already!
