I mean, really, I dont think bush is doing that bad. I almost feel bad that I didn't vote for him.

Besides, I tried to fantisize about Stovie being a democrate and it just didnt work out very well and I would have to break up with him in my dreams if I remained a liberal.

“I mean, really, I dont think bush is doing that bad. I almost feel bad that I didn't vote for him."

LOL! I can't say I'm having buyer's regret because I still think Kerry was a disaster waiting to happen but I'm fed up with Bush and his double talkin' and his conservative talk and liberal walk. I've been reading a bit more on libertarian values and I find it very refreshing. Will it ever happen? I doubt it but I'm tired of being a part of the corupt two party system.

I believe it was Larry Elders who said there was about a dime's worth of difference between the democrats and the republicans.

I think I will turn Republican too.

I notice that they can lie, cheat and steal and never get in trouble.

You think there are many Democrats running Halliburton?

Let's look at it, I am getting older. Getting a share of a half billion in government contracts is more important than getting a sloppy bj from a sleazy intern, which seems to be the Democrats biggest downfall.

I got your picture of me and you
You wrote "I love you" I wrote "me too"
I sit here staring and there's nothing else to do
Oh it's in color
Your hair is brown
Your eyes are hazel
And soft as clouds
I have to kiss you when there's no one else around

I got your picture, I got your picture
I'd like a million of you over myself
I want a doctor to take a picture
So I can look at you from inside as well
You've got me turning up and turning down
and turning in and turning 'round

I'm turning Republican
I think I'm turning Republican
I really think so
Turning Republican
I think I'm turning Republican
I really think so
Turning Republican
I think I'm turning Republican
I really think so
Turning Republican
I think I'm turning Republican
I really think so

I got your picture, I got your picture
I'd like a million of you over myself
I want a doctor to take a picture
So I can look at you from inside as well
You've got me turning up and turning down
and turning in and turning 'round

I'm turning Republican
I think I'm turning Republican
I really think so
Turning Republican
I think I'm turning Republican
I really think so
Turning Republican
I think I'm turning Republican
I really think so
Turning Republican
I think I'm turning Republican
I really think so

No sex, no drugs, no wine, no women
No fun, no sin, no you, no wonder it's dark
Everyone around me is a total stranger
Everyone avoids me like a Psyclone Ranger
Everyone

That's why I'm turning Republican
I think I'm turning Republican
I really think so
Turning Republican
I think I'm turning Republican
I really think so
Turning Republican
I think I'm turning Republican
I really think so
Turning Republican
I think I'm turning Republican
I really think so...

I went from being a Repugnican to being a Dummycrat, but not sure I will stay there long. Not sure what else there is. Will my vote even get counted? Does anybody's vote get counted? Who runs elections anyway? Halliburton?

Actualy Nicole, I was very liberal and voted only Dem or a third party when I was younger. Stupid liberal, I would now say. I remember being so shocked that anyone could vote for Ron Reagon when he was elected to his first term.

As one gets a little older, those Black and White issues become grayer, and you see more sides to the questions.

Anyone that never changes their opinions is a fool.

October 22 1976, I proudly participated in the Nobody for President rally in Austin Texas. I wore a "F--- 'em all button" (all the letters were written in) and proudly voted for Nobody and for third party candidates. It was my first Presi election.

The rally was the funniest f---ing thing, with signs like:

"Nobody loves you!"
"Nobody has all the answers"
"Nobody knows you when you're down and out"
"Nobody can win the White House without selling out"

If I had to do it over again, I'd vote for Ford.

I voted third pary for John Anderson in 1980. If I had to do it over again, I'd vote for Carter.

Sorry, Poopypants, but how could Kerry have POSSIBLY done a worse job than Bush? By provoking India, Pakistan or North Korea into launching a nuclear strike?

Bush = liberal. Kerry = more liberal = more bad.

When you vote for President, you don't get a government that mirrors that person's values.

When you vote for President, you are simply voting to determine the face of the executive branch as it faces off against the legislative and judicial.

Clinton presided over a time of divided government. Reagan presided over a time of divided government.

The reason to vote for Kerry last time was not because he was liberal or conservative or even a very good man. It was to check the power of the Republicans.

Scandal happens when power concentrates.

Stovie is 100% right here. I voted for George Pataki for governor of New York last time around. After seeing how he did nothing but raise tuitions for college students and screw the New York City school kids out of funding that included some vital after school programs that my kids lost out on, I realized that I would be a fool to vote for that repugnican ingrate again. Instead, I am going to be smart and help put a fine man named Eliot Spitzer in Albany!

My message to all: Consider becoming a Libertarian. The two-party system of extremists / liars on both sides is killing us. Think positively, think for yourself!

Why is it that people think if you belong to the Democratic Party or the Republican Party that means you can't think for yourself? ??? Of course you think for yourself just the same, and no single party incorporates all our beliefs, and we don't believe everything just because the DNC or the GOP talking heads tell us to. It's fine if you wanna be registered "Independent", but it's delusional if you think someone from a third or fourth or fifth party will actually win a Presidential election. I'm a Republican because I'm a "realist" and compared to the other real option, the Republicans more closely match my beliefs. But they don't think for me nor do they match all my beliefs.
