“I'm sorry if this thread comes up again, and maybe again since I kept trying to post it and it didn't show up.

Christie Brinkley was on the daytime talkshow called The View. My sister who saw the show said Christie had her daughter go by the curb to sell lemonade to help Katrina disaster victims. Her daughter first brought out her wooden lounge chair and when she went back to the curb, it was gone. Christie said something about wanting the "little Mexican" that took it to bring it back! Can Christie spell I J-U-S-T L-O-S-T my new makeup contract by making that remark? I hope she did since that is why she was on the show to begin with. She didn't even say her daughter went back out with a new chair and made "X" amount of dollar for Katrina victims.

Christie also said she posted a note in front of her house asking for it to be returned. I wonder if she had the nerve to write it in English and then in Spanish for her Mexican friends who took it!

Who is to say her rich neighbors didn't see it and say to themselves that it may be thrown out and/or they want a celebritie's chair? Who says rich neighbors equals people with morals?

I think she lives in the Hamptons (NY) and must have Mexican people doing lawn care etc. I hope they use too much fertilizer on her lawn and burn it to a crisp!

If it was her dead mother's chair and a family heirloom, I can see her wanting it back, but I somehow doubt it.”
