Paint Ball War Games

“My daughter's boyfriend has been trying to get me to go with him and his buddies paintballing for months now. Today was the first Saturday I couldn't come up with a believable excuse, so I caved in and went with them. I'm 45 years old, rolling around in the dirt up in the mountains, playing war games with a bunch of kids in their 20's. I haven't had that much fun in a long time. What a riot. Except for the pain part when those little suckers hit you in the fleshy parts of your body. I have decided though that it's a young man's game. I'm sore, and I've got welts from my battle wounds.

The funnest part of the morning however was when we were driving home afterward, and he started to stutter and stammer trying to ask me if he could marry my daughter. I almost burst out laughing it was so comical to listen to. He was scared spitless. Had it not been for my memories of me going through the same thing with my father-in-law 26+ years ago, I may have given him a little bit of grief before I told him I'd be happy to have him for a son-in-law.”

Thinkbubelz & I played some paintball back in our college days-- it wasn't too bad-- apparently, though, the paint balls used by the players in today's games are much smaller and hurt a lot more... LOL”
