My pictures are gone from Webshots

“Just wondering if anyone else lost pictures from there webshots? I have a full page that is totally gone on one of my albums.
That is very odd”

“The other night it showed me as having only 6 albums on my main page instead of the 55 or so I have. A few hours later they were back.

They say they are working on things, but it seems like more problems are happening than they are fixing.”

“Frustrating! I finished my "Dunderberg Peak" album Thursday before leaving but wasn't able to get a link. Came home tonight and still nothing. It showed 98 views on webshots desktop, but the album did not show up in the public album. I made a few changes in the album earlier, and it just opened sometime in the last 1/2 hr.

I won't use the coupon either. :-(”

“It was frustrating as hell for me to upload pics last night too. First the folder would show up, then it wouldn't, then it would show the number of pics in the folder, but at the same time on the same page indicate "no photos." My pics finally showed up late in the evening completely out of the order in which I uploaded them. Lets hope tonights attempt to arrange my photos back to the original order is nothing like the last time I had to it.”

“sucks! I had nothing but problems with them in the last year. I like to have my pictures with one photo site and not with 2...so it's hard to move everything to somewhere else. That's the only reason why I haven't switched yet.

I did however sign up with flickr.com If I am happy with them I may slowely move over there. I especially love their notes feature. There's actually lots of things I like about them.”

“Webshots F-ed up one of my albums in that I can't deleat some pics and because of that they screwed up the way the album is displayed...and a few pics don't even show up when I'm logged out.

Maybe that's why it's free (to folks like me).”

I rearranged photos in one folder 5 TIMES earlier this evening and they're still all f'd up in random order.

A cousin of mine uses Snapfish (?) but I don't know anything about it.”

“I have all my pictures archived on CD. I am even thinking of copying those CD's and placing the copies in a secure offsite storage facility (i.e. a safety deposit box) just in case we have a fire at home.

I use free accounts on Webshots to make it easier for friends and family to see our pics.”

“Photobucket.com is good as well as Flickr.com. I just recently uploaded some stuff on Flickr and I like the layout. Just don't submit any booger photos to Flickr. Photo.net is good if you want feedback on your images. If you Google something like "free photo online storage" or something like that, you'll get like 87,000 options.”
