I just posted more maps of Northern CAView MessagesViewing posts 1 to 4 of 4 messages posted.
Lots of maps “I have always been a bit of a map geek. I have most of the mapping programs out there and I have a collection of the free ones as well. My Cache and Mountain Maps album is one of the most visited albums I have on Webshots, sooooo.......... I just went through a few backup disk's and found a bunch of maps I had made for one reason or another. There are a few duplicates within this new album as well as a few in my Cache and Mountain Maps album, but I will clean them out as time permits. I will also label a few of them a bit better and organize them for location. Much of this organizing will depend on Webshots, I have been having a bit of a problem with the pictures staying where I put them. Most of the maps are from the Lassen area, but there are some from the Trinity Alps, Marble Mountains, South Warners, Mount Shasta, Caribou Wilderness, etc. If anyone ever needs a map, let me know and I'll post it for ya. They are best viewed "full size" and depending on your printer program, will fit nicely on a page. New Map album” 6:34:12 PM 10/22/05 “Map geek! Map geek!” 2:06:06 PM 10/23/05 “mtnsteve - Somebody asked this before, but I never saw an answer. What's a good oversized map source to put one on the wall to keep track of trails hiked. Either state of even U.S. sized?” 2:10:29 PM 10/23/05 “I would guess you could get what you need from National Geographic - I think you can order all kinds of maps from them online.” 11:01:40 PM 10/23/05
