“My wife just got back from another appointment and everything is as it should be. She's up to the appointment every two weeks stage. We had an issue a couple weeks ago, they thought she may have had gestational diabetes. We spent 4 hours at the hospital doing tests but they came back negative!

Only 2 and a half more months to go!!! I can't wait. We're going with Maxwell as the first name and Taylor for the middle. Taylor is my wife's madden name.”

Mom isn't so big when she might slip on ice and gets it over before the summer heat makes life miserable (she will start producing a LOT of extra body heat soon).

“We go in for another ultrasound today which is great cause we get to see him again but isn't great cause the doctors want to do it because they think he may be transverse(sp), or sideways. If he is and won't fix himself they'll take him by c-section(sp). I'll keep my fingers crossed.

The good news is we went to a child birth class last night that is supposed to be 5 weeks long!! but my wife hated it so we don't have to go back!!! It was all hippie tree huggin "love your body" BS which my wife totally hates. She's not into the whole natural thing, she'd have an epidural now if she could. ;)”

“Barbie was close to having a C-Section as well. The doctor said at one point to prep the surgical team. When Barbie heard this, she pushed as hard as she could and out popped the little one. As she was pushing she screamed, "Hell no! I am not having a C-Section."”

just got back from the ultrasound and all is well...he straightened up and is ready for take off...doc says he should move before it's "go time"”

...after 3 children....I would much rather NOT do a C-section...longer recovery!!!!!....I was up and about in no time....one of mine I was wheeled back to room in a wheel chair!!!!...the pain was well worth it....”

“a friend of mine's baby was turned......they had her on her knees with her shoulders and head on the floor...her baby turned on it's own.....I can't remember the name of the position, but it is a yoga pose....very relaxing....Om will know!!!”

“yeh, they told us about that too...there's a few different exercises that can work but none of them have all that high of a success rate...they can even try to move the baby by hand from the outside, sounds painful...but no matter, it's all good now and he's kicking like mad...he kicked so hard last night he actually lifted my hand up off my wife's stomach”

Hah! One appointment we went to, the doc was having trouble finding the heartbeat, when all of a sudden, this wave of BowlderSon's elbow or foot or something went rolling across BowlderGal's tummy. "That's good enough for me!" said the doc....”

“yeh, that happened to us on our first ultrasound...the doc said "if i didn't know better i'd say he just balled up his fist and took a swing at us"”

“AH, makes me wish I'd gotten a picture of the ultrasound where Laurel gave the doctor the bird. That's my girl!”

“Holy Gigantic Baby Batman!!! We just got back from another ultrasound. He's measuring over 9 pounds and we still have 3 weeks to go!!! An ultrasound can be +/- 2 pounds but if that's on the low side it could be 11 pounds!!! We meet with a surgeon next week to discuss the posibility/probability of a C-section.”
