I'm afraid to ask what it means, but I'm all ears to find out... we are talking about a car, right?

I have a silver one. I call it Rubi. You can't call yours that because I named mine first.

AAAH! Mtsteve is close. I have the white Jeep Rubicon travel bug. lol... I hadn't even been hunting for one, but when a new cache showed up in my hometown, I knew I had to try to score an "FTF" (and some of you will know what THAT means... lol) -- and I did!

The problem is, I really like those white Jeep travel bugs. Will I screw up someone's work in that contest if it someone gets irretrieveably (sp?) stuck somewhere at my place?

:-)

It's bad karma to keep a travel bug. It's thoughts like these that keep your camera troubles coming.

What gets wetter and wetter the more it dries?

Lizs... I am back at home to help with mother. Nearing the end now. Will not be going hiking until she passes on. A visit to your area will happen a few days later.
Still wondering about your travel bug.

Hmmm, Owl, that would explain a lot. LOL! But, crap, it is a commercial contest. Why would they hand out little Jeeps if they didn't want us to keep them?!??! (picture my innocent face here... )

Goat, very sorry to hear about your mom. Prayers are with you.

What are you wondering about the travel bug? You want one, too, so you can whip it out (the TRAVEL BUG!!) when you say how you always wanted to meet a chick who drives a Jeep? ;-P

I thought it was some kind of Mn slang.

I asked about the travel bug before noticing slim's edited message. No wondering about that now.

I've met many chicks who drive Jeeps.
The phraze is... "I've been 'looking' for a babe who drives a Jeep."
Not that you are not a babe.
I wouldn't mind having a little white Rubicon because my S-10 now has over 220,000 miles.

Good luck in your situation, tanngniost. It must be quite a difficult time for you.

I wouldn't mind a BIG white Jeep Rubicon. So what can we do about that??!? Make like Thelma and The Goat and go steal one and take a joy ride?? (No going off cliffs... and if I happen to find Brad Pitt, we'll find Angelina Jolie for you, deal?) ;-)

I wanted a Rubicon. I used to have a Wrangler with the rear Dana 44 option and loved it. Took it offroad a month after I drove it off the lot (brand spankin' new!) It was sweet. I currently have a CJ-5 "do it at home" job ... 33" tires, lift kit, shackle reversal kit, oversized shackles, T-15A transmission (from another jeep, rebuilt frame, etc. I still wish I had my Wrangler. Traded it in on my Pickup (which I love)... it was more practical... and being practical sucks sometimes.
