Wildcat Camp (Point Reyes) in December

“Drunken Marmot and I have the group campsite reserved for the Wildcat Camp in Point Reyes for the weekend of December 3-4. Anyone is welcome to join us! I posted a trip.”

I'd like to go on this Point Reyes trip, but it's a bit of a drive for me... Depends on how much extra cash I have after Thanksgiving... So I'll put myself down as a maybe :)”

If you're interested, you could crash at our place friday and then we can drive you up from there (we're right off 280 in los altos), that'd cut a bit of time sitting behind the wheel...”

I see your offer for the Sespe Wilderness. Thanks for offering but will hike closer to home next weekend. We've planned a trip to 4th of July lake.
Hope you can make it to Pt.Reyes. You can always stay at my house as well though I'm planning to go in on Friday.”

“I visited CA and did the Alamere Falls trail in Point Reyes with some tters I met when I first joined. They don't post here anymore that I know of.

We hiked down onto the beach and sat by the falls and ate lunch. Oh yeah, pantscandy was there. I've seen him post not that long ago.”

We're planning on meeting at the Visitor's center (where the trailhead is) at 9 am.”

“Shoot I can't make it. I have to go somewhere I can take the dog, and Pt Reyes is a national park. (I hate that, there's no good reason that well behaved dog shouldn't be allowed on out of the way trails)

I'm thinking about Desolation Wilderness. Anyone care to go more vertical?”

“Other than catching a cold at the beginning of October and pretty much still having it, I'm doing okay. I should report to the 'feeling sickly' thread, but I'm still mostly in denial.”
